As my case is ongoing and I cannot speak to the details, hiring Derek Ritchie was one of the best decisions I made during an emergency family crisis. Everyone in his office made an unpleasant experience tolerable. I felt safe and comfortable letting Mr. Ritchie represent me and my daughter during a litigious, high conflict case I was forced to be dragged into. I could honestly say Mr. Ritchie and Ms. Vanya saved me and my family and especially my sanity. I honestly don’t know the correct words to show my appreciation towards this law firm because it’s beyond words how thankful I am for them. All of them made us feel like family, especially my girls like to be around Mr. Ritchie because he took the time to talk to them and asked them any questions they had that didn’t have anything to do with the case. He never rushed them. And he would make jokes and laugh at their jokes towards him. That was important to me; that was another example of them being a family environment. Their team is amazing including a lady named Vanessa. There were times that I had questions or concerns and she tried her best to give me answers or help me through my thoughts. Including her and the team all show compassion towards my situation. I never felt judged or talked about after walking out of it. Never underestimate a paralegal because, let me tell you, Vanya did her thing and she also showed up for me as a mother and a woman. Even on weekends or nights she would reach out to me to make sure everything was OK and how my visits were going. And trust me, she had to calm me down plenty of times and walk me through the situation. Mr. Ritchie and his law firm showed a deep understanding of my personal situation and demonstrated empathy throughout the legal process. This helped me a great deal to get through this difficult time. Another big thing for me was since day one my team always stayed the same. If Mr. Ritchie couldn’t contact me or make it to any hearings it was Vanya, but trust me he was always in the loop and was always pressing, even though he wasn’t physically there. So I really appreciate that he didn’t have me deal with different people. I really wish I could find the correct words to show them how much I appreciate them and how much impact they made in my life and they’re irreplaceable. Hopefully, I will never be in a situation like this again but if I am or in any, trust me, I will be contacting them.
